So let me get this straight. Jesus is a 100% badass in the comics. He’s a comic book fan favorite. He’s still alive and badass today in the comics. Right? We all agree to this? In the show they gave him maybe 2 fight scenes where he could show off what he could do. In one of them he fucking died. They gave away literally every comic book scene he has to someone else in the show. Even the fight scene with him and negan got taken away and given to a fucking fake tiger they killed off just a few episodes later. He was so reduced he was basically just Maggie’s gay bff. All he did was stand beside Maggie and talk to her. Out of ALL the people they could have killed off, there are many to choose from, they choose Jesus. One of the characters they didn’t fully explore or even try really and basically ignored the entire time he was on screen, not even to mention one of the few gay characters left on the show. What? Did bringing in the lesbian couple make it too many gays on screen at the same time? We know we can’t have that! That’s just too crazy and too much! They wasted so much fucking potential with Jesus and the actor Tom Payne. I even knew this was going to happen and I’m so fucking annoyed and mad.
Eugene is STILL ALIVE but Jesus gets killed off!? like yes it was cool to see the walker dodge the attack but did they have to actually kill a LGBT character off to show that?? it makes the other scenes with Aaron and Jesus bonding seem like complete bait. i want it to be a fake out but from the Talking Dead is sounds like Jesus is actually dead.
