Honestly, Clarke truly believing Bellamy was dead explains a whole lot about her behavior in the past few episodes. She thought she had already left the one person who matters most to her, besides Madi, to die so she basically just shut down.

The look on her face when she realized that her current actions would surely lead to his death was everything. She legit snapped out of it and Wanheda returned in full force. Then she told them to “Save him”, making it very clear how deeply she cares about Bellamy.
