Leigh Bardugo books: “I would come for you. And if I couldn’t walk I’d crawl to you, and no matter how broken we were, we’d fight our way out together – knives drawn, pistols blazing. Because that’s what we do. We never stop fighting.”

Also Leigh Bardugo books: “my ghost won’t associate with your ghost.”

Honestly I love the ships in six of crows. Not just because they’re FANTASTIC, but because both people are always equals. Kaz and inej? Equals. Nina and Matthias? Equals. Jesper and Wylan? Equals. There’s so many ya books I’ve read where one is portrayed as less powerful than the other (not necessarily physically, just in general), and it’s so refreshing to see when an author gets it right like this.
