When Kat and Adena get back together or work out their shit I’m going to need Adena to tell Kat how inspiring she is, and how amazing ,worthy, and good enough she is. I know I’m a jokester and these storylines don’t get to me but when Kat said she wants to be inspiring that shit really hit my heart.
So we were all afraid that Kat was he commitphobe and couldn’t be trusted with space in the open relationship but really it was Adena. The bold type really out here playing with our expectations as usual. Honestly blindsided
They gave us clues. We just didn’t listen because Adena’s the “mature” one and Kat cheated.
Kat discovered Adena jumps from relationship to relationship, setting up the next one before the last one ended.
Every time Kat tried to be public with her, she pushed her away
Every time Kat tried to get to know more about her even in private, she resisted or distracted her with sex
When Marcus asked about Adena’s parents, all Kat could say was “she speaks with her mom but i don’t know anything about her dad”…indicating she hadn’t talked to her about anything.
Kat had to nearly beg her to meet a couple of friends
She thought breaking up with Coco over the phone after a 3 year relationship should have been easy
She actively pursued a relationship, while in another relationship, with a woman who up until that point had never considered dating a woman ever.
She didn’t feel inspired until she was away from her girlfriend for a week
She wasn’t bothered by Kat never bringing her ass home.
She started producing once she had space from Kat.
