Honestly I love the ships in six of crows. Not just because they’re FANTASTIC, but because both people are always equals. Kaz and inej? Equals. Nina and Matthias? Equals. Jesper and Wylan? Equals. There’s so many ya books I’ve read where one is portrayed as less powerful than the other (not necessarily physically, just in general), and it’s so refreshing to see when an author gets it right like this.
