So let me get this straight, so far this season, Giovanni GaraU (with a u, it’s Sardinian) has:

  • Looked out for Marti when he said he had parent troubles
  • Lied for Marti without knowing why he needed to
  • Worried about Marti and how he was behaving
  • Tried to cheer Marti up with parties and get togethers
  • Listened to Marti talk about his sexuality, openly accepted him, supported him and showed him nothing has changed between them
  • Shown a genuine interest in the guy Marti likes
  • Kept checking up on Marti to make sure he’s ok
  • Been ready to fight some guy for laughing at Marti
  • Sat by Marti’s side as he came out to his best friends and constantly helped encourage Marti when he could see his best friend’s nerves
  • Forced Elia and Marti to quit being mad at each other
  • Taken Marti away with the boys for a weekend to spent proper time together
  • Given boy advice and coached Marti like the love wizard he is to help Marti reconnect with Nico
  • Left his own lake house to allow Marti to meet Nico all because he looked in Marti’s eyes, understood how much Marti feels for Nico and respected Nico’s gesture
  • Slept on a cold hard floor and ate chips with jam to give Marti privacy and a bed with Nico
  • Smiled like a proud mamma bear at a happy Marti and his boyfriend

In conclusion, Gio is a hero and I adore him.
